Our Church celebrated our 84th Anniversary as a local church on June 8, 2025. The good work of Crusade Baptist Church began on September of 1941 by Pastor Lonnie Hight with eight charter members. Over the best 84 years, sixteen pastors have served as pastors with the current pastor,  Michael Martin, completing his tenth year of service.

 

Our guest speaker was Donnie Oates, who served as pastor at Vandalia Baptist Church located on 3919 Pleasant Garden Road in Greensboro, NC. Donnie served as pastor for over 40 years, but now is currently retired. Although retired, he is still active in the ministry. He is the Adult Sunday School Teacher at Vandalia Baptist Church, and has a ministry with  seniors at Vandalia. As the opportunity arises, Donnie loves to fill the pulpit for pastors who needs a visiting speaker.

 

Donnie brought a superb message on the parable of the prodigal son found in Luke 15. We appreciate Donnie and his wife, Brenda, coming to be a part of our fellowship. Our folks enjoyed being with them as we had a fellowship dinner after the morning service which everyone enjoyed.
