The Bridge To Eternal Life

Because all of us have sinned(Romans 3:23), we are not only destined to die physically(Romans 6:23), but we are presently in a state of spiritual death or separation from God (Ephesians 2:1-4).

When Jesus died on the cross, He took our condemnation and paid the price for our sins( Romans 4:25). By Christ suffering and dying as our substitute, Jesus (1) met God's standard for righteousness that was credited to our account, and (2) made right what was broken between sinners and a holy God.

What must you do to be saved?

1.) Admit that you are a sinner:  "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God"  (Romans 3:23)

2.) Believe God loves you and paid your penalty of sin:.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

3.) Willingness to leave sin behind and follow Christ:

"...except ye repent (a turning away from sin), ye shall all likewise perish." Luke 13:3

3.) Confess your faith in Christ:

"That If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."  (Romans 10:9)
