 "Conclusion of the Book of Daniel"

 

 

                       Daniel 12

As we bring a close to our study of the Book of Daniel and our long study on prophesy, please notice Daniel 12 closes with some interesting questions:

​

                     1.) "How long will it be before these amazing things

                            come true?"  (v.6)

                     2.) "What shall be the end of these things?" (v.8)

​

In other words, "How long will it be before the end comes," and "How will it end?"

​

Notice Daniel said he understood not concerning the end times, and he asked wisdom from God to give him understanding about these last days that he was being shown. However, God told Daniel through an angel, more likely the angel Gabriel, "Go about your business, this message is hidden. it will be a secret until the end of times. in other words, Daniel was not given understanding in his days, but as the end gets close God will give understanding to those believers living at that time.

​

However, Daniel was told of a time that we call the Tribulation Period as a "time of trouble such as never was since a nation has been born."  He was also told of a time where the Old Testament saints would be resurrection which will occur at Christ Return.

At the end of Chapter 12, Daniel was told there is coming a time that he would rest, and that he will stand with the other saints at the end of time.(v.12)

​
