We are glad to have Joshua Wetherington serving as our Music Director. He was recently called and voted in by our church to serve in this position effective Sunday, August 14, 2022.

Josh was born and raised in Greenville, NC where he grew a passion for music, constantly practicing on the piano with other instruments including the guitar, the bass, the trombone, and many others. He accepted Christ as His Savior at age 10, and received assurance of his salvation at the Wilds Christian Camp at the age of 15. He is a former student of Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida. After his freshman year, he felt led to return to North Carolina. At that time, he started attending Crusade Baptist Church, where he later became a member.

Josh has been a God-send since his time with us. His ministry of music has been a great blessing to our church, and he is loved by all who enters the door of our church.

We are also glad to have Abby Wetherington as part of our church. Josh and Abby were recently married in our church on October 31, 2023. Abby plays the flute as well as being gifted in singing solos and duets for our church. Her ministry of music also has been a God-send to our church. She also is a former student of Pensacola Christian College. Currently Josh is age 22, and Abby is age 21.
